چکیده

Solar energy is a prompt creating source of worldwide. Airports are typically large and shade-free structures, which offer the idealistic platform for installing surfaces photovoltaic panels generating more than 20 GW/yr. Optimization key factor to promote power conversion efficiency. Solar-radiation amount depends on an essential factor, orientation modules. The azimuth tilt angles affect receiving solar radiation, accordingly have major influence system performance. PVsyst software important simulation design system. This study provides proposal plant in Cairo International Airport. Moreover, gives several cases get optimum yearly maximize annual yield. also improves generation by carrying out optimization obtain dual-seasonal optimal summer winter. orientation-optimization were done software. results indicated that angle 0°, 30°, generated around 35 GWh/yr. 10° 50° winter maximized be about 36.5 contributes effectively increase production using panel-orientation, as well being able save 50% Cairo-International-Airport Terminal-Building 3 electrical consumption.

General Design Procedures for Airport-Based Solar Photovoltaic Systems

A source of large surface areas for solar photovoltaic (PV) farms that has been largely overlooked in the 13,000 United States of America (U.S.) airports. This paper hopes to enable PV deployments in most airports by providing an approach to overcome the three primary challenges identified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA): (1) reflectivity and glare; (2) radar interference; and (3) ...

Material Optimization for Concentrated Solar Photovoltaic and Thermal Co-generation

We conducted an analytic study of concentrated solar photovoltaic and hot water co-generation based on various solar cell technologies and micro channel heat sinks. By co-optimizing the electricity generation and heat transport in the system, one can minimize the cost of the key materials and compare different tradeoffs as a function of concentration ratio or other parameters. Concentrated sola...

Optimization of Airport Surface Traffic: A Case-study of Incheon International Airport

This study aims to develop a controllers decision support tool for departure and surface management of ICN. Airport surface traffic optimization for Incheon International Airport (ICN) in South Korea was studied based on the operational characteristics of ICN and airspace of Korea. For surface traffic optimization, a multiple runway scheduling problem and a taxi scheduling problem were formulat...

Study of Solar Radiation in View of Photovoltaic Systems Optimization

The meteorological data concerning solar radiation are generally not sufficient to allow quantifying all the phenomena which occur when a photovoltaic panel receives solar light. It is therefore, necessary to supplement these data by using astronomical calculation for the sun position and modelling the atmosphere. A simple method to calculate global, diffuse and direct irradiance on vertical an...
